Nationwide Professional Debt Enforcement Recovery Service

Specialising in debt enforcement, we offer practical solutions that help our clients collect the money, or the services, owed to them. Our main focus is business debt recovery, but we are equally adept in private debt recovery. Committed to legal solutions only, we cover all stages of debt collection, from credit management through to High Court enforcement.

Put your trust and your financial worries in our capable hands for a professional outcome, anywhere in the United Kingdom.

Business Debt Recovery

If a customer or another business is late paying money owed for goods or services, enforcement recovery helps in retrieving any debts owed. For a payment to be late, the agreed settlement date must have passed. In the case of no agreed date, payments classify as late 30 days after the customer received the invoice, or 30 days after you delivered the goods or services (whichever falls later).

When people make late payments, or try to avoid paying you altogether, your business can face damaging repercussions. It is important to understand your rights and what you can do.

Walking clients through the debt recovery process, we offer everything from mediation, where we set up and manage payment plans, to enforcement services. We even prepare N1 Claim Forms, Evidence Packs and Particulars of Claims on your behalf should you decide to take legal proceedings after failed mediation.

Private Debt Recovery

Individuals often owe money to friends, family, businesses or other persons. Common private debts include:

• Rent Owed by Lodgers • Unpaid Wages • Bounced Cheques • Personal Loans to Family or Friends
• Unreturned Deposits • Proceeds from the Sale of Private Goods

A debt recovery letter is sufficient in the majority of these cases. If a letter doesn’t result in payment, we can then move on to court proceedings.

High Court Enforcement

If other methods of debt recovery have failed, it may be necessary to pursue High Court litigation. With a County Court Judgement (CCJ) against a debtor, the case can transfer to the High Court. This involves both parties presenting their case to a judge. A successful outcome will result in the debtor receiving a judgement to pay the debt.

The debtor must also absorb associated costs and fees.

With a team of professional solicitors, we assist during all stages of enforcement and have high success rates. If necessary, the court can instruct enforcement officers to visit the debtor. These officers have legal powers to collect debts on behalf of our clients. In accordance with High Court rules, enforcement officers can repossess goods and assets to the total value of any debt owed.

Credit Management

Credit management services ensure your customers pay invoices within the defined terms and conditions. We record you or your business with the Registry Trust, and with the three main credit reference agencies in the UK, to highlight your current financial performance, and to identify the credit risks associated with your prospective clients.

We work with you to establish credit limits, and to prevent late or non-payment of invoices.
